These deep passionate words reflect the lives of M.O.B. Stars.  Contrary to the belief that most get from a group whose opening initials are M.O.B., which stands for Maintaining Our Brothers, M.O.B. Stars are not your average hip-hop group.  “M.O.B.Stars, Top Gods” – O.B. (Path Of The Dragon), true to the name, these Gods, take on deity like characteristics.  Every day of their lives is a struggle to attempt to find themselves and make an impact on the world around them.  Musically the group is on another stratosphere, rightfully deserving of the name “Gods”.  They have a wide range of style which mirror contemporary hip-hop, with an old soul fervor reminiscent of the Hip-Hop glory days of the 90s.  With all three artists coming from different walks of life, the group on a whole presents a whole new side to hip-hop unlike ever before.  With music that is unapologetic while remorseful, progressive while pessimistic, hopeful and in despair all at once, they have a music that is truly representative of the world around and inside of them.  With songs like “Comin’ Up” which attempt to inspire the hopeless, “Addiction” which stimulates the senses or “What If?” which give an honest questioning to the world around them, M.O.B.Stars truly live up to being music by and for all peoples.  “If you don’t like this (song), you must be a bitch” –S.C.G.  M.O.B.Stars take the dirt the world has given them and mold it into a clay of endless possibilities.
